Fall Bucket List

Fall is a time for crisp air, falling leaves, holidays, football games, county fairs and festivals, bonfires, and s'mores. It is the perfect time of the year to put together a bucket list of things to do with your family.

When I think of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, my first thoughts are of beaches and summer, not the sights, sounds, and smells of Fall. So, to make the most of this season, we are putting together a bucket list of things to do. With a bit of research, Facebook, and friends' recommendations, here are some things that we have added to our list.

  • October 1, 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm - Hancock Whitney Sea of Stars - FREE event at Jones Park, Gulfport. Five hundred drones will be launched into the night sky to create illuminated 3D shapes and characters such as alligators, dolphins, and turtles. All set to classic and modern soundtracks. A firework show will follow in Gulfport Harbor.

  • PASS CHRISTIAN: The Trinity Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch

  • Cruising The Coast October 3rd - 10th - it almost feels like this event is the official kick-off to the Fall season on the coast. Official event guide:
